The Revolutionary Hip-Hop Report is an online news source covering international, national, & local news about Hip-Hop music and culture. R.H.H.R. also reports on the issues and struggles that make up much of Hip-Hop’s dialogue and content. These topics include police brutality, the prison system, racism, poverty,  education, & more.

The Revolutionary Hip-Hop Reporters are a collective of Modesto/Central Valley Hip-Hop heads and journalists. Our goal is to bring aspects of Revolutionary Hip-Hop culture to the people and bring the people into the realm of the Revolutionary Hip-Hop scene. We are an independent media source that wants to bring real issues, which often go uncovered in the corporate news, to the attention of our local community and the general public that it concerns and affects. We draw inspiration from, and want to promote, the most positive and progressive aspects of Hip-Hop music, culture, and political action to empower the powerless and the ‘have-nots.’ Especially the youth, people of color, the poor and working class, the homeless, immigrants, and anyone else that is oppressed by the current system of corporate rule and the police state that protects it. We want your voice to be heard! If you want to fight oppression, give food to the hungry, homes to the homeless, observe police conduct, empower the youth, start a boycott, a strike, a walk-out, organize a rally, write an article, a song, rap, or poem expressing your opinion, then we are here to support you and we are hoping that you will support us. We will stay dedicated to reporting the unreported, representing the underrepresented, and of course keeping it Hip-Hop…and it don’t stop!

  1. Yo..
I saw you all at the Western Workers Labor Heritage Festival up in San Mateo a few months ago, but didn’t get a chance to talk to you…definitely next time.

How does one get a hold of a paper copy of your publication? I haven’t seen it at any of the usual spots up here in the Bay Area..

    Let me know.
Thanks…and you’re DEFINITELY doing good work.

  2. hey compas, thanks for coming to the Bay showing us how it’s done. we need some new ideas around here. it shows you all are coming from a place of passion and passing that on to the community. some of the responses from last night will be aired today on Berkeley Liberation Radio between 4-6pm (http://berkeleyliberationradio.net/) after today the audio will be posted on indybay.

  3. Hi Anonymous people who I don’t know. In the past few months there have been at least 4 pig-related murders in “Stanislost” County- 1 in Keyes, 1 in Turlock, and 2 in Modesto. This past weekend, according to sources close to the situation, 2 off-duty federal pigs were at a bar called O’malley’s when they got into an altercation with 2 brothers. All 4 people were kicked out the bar and then the altercation continued to escalate on the parking lot. One of the pigs, afraid of taking an ass whooping, pulled his gun out of his car and proceeded to shoot one of the brothers in the shoulder and neck. While aiming to kill the other brother, the scared pig pulled the trigger and ended up killing his partner.
Pigs who kill get away with murder everyday.

  4. CHECK IT OUT………
