 Paid Dues, the Independent Hip-Hop Festival, held its 5th annual concert on Saturday, April 3rd at the NOS Center in San Bernardino and featured Ice Cube, Murs & 9th Wonder, TechN9ne, Raekwon, Dogg Pound, Freestyle Fellowship, Jay Electronica, Dilated Peoples, Psycho Realm, People Under the Stairs, Del, & many more. Hocus Ink celebrated its 5 year  anniversary on Saturday, April 3rd with an event at its Mitchell Rd. Ceres location. Along with Ikon Urban Riot Gear, Hocus brought together lowriders, breakdancers, DJs, Hip-Hop acts Cobalt & Nikfuq, as well as local punk band Los Punks del Norte for a day of fun in the sun.  2Mex & Casual (of Hieroglyphics) got together for the “Hip-Hop Revival Festival” on Thursday,  April 8th at The Empire Theater on Pacific Ave. in Stockton.  BreakBoys: Do or Die Battle was a 3 on 3 b-boy contest with a $500 grand prize. Presented by Ikon U.R.G. & Hocus Ink, the event went down on Saturday, April 24th at the Salvation Army on Las Vegas St. in South Modesto. More @ http://myspace.com/urbanriotgear  

 Clash of Hip-Hop was presented by the Watsonville Brown Berets on Friday, April 30th at the Bike Shop on Main Street in Watsonville. The event included performances by several local Hip-Hop MCs and groups, artwork workshops, & a bike raffle. More @ http://myspace.com/brownberets
